Lampascioni or lampagioni is the common name given to Muscari comosum, the so – called “cipolluzze di terra”. Very popular in south of Italy, especially in Apulia, they are harvested in this period. Their taste is a mixture of mushrooms, red fruits and asparagus (all of them belong from the same family). You can always find them on summer tables or in almost all supermarkets.
